Photocards ("we", "us", or "our") is a photo card creation app for iPhone and iPad. We are deeply committed to your privacy. This policy describes exactly what data exists in relation to the app and why.

Short version: We do not collect any personal information about you. All your photos, cards, and creative work stay entirely on your device. We have no access to who you are.

No Personal Data Collected

Photocards does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about its users. Specifically, we do not collect:

Optional: Community Templates

The app includes an optional feature that allows users to share card templates (layouts, not personal photos or content) with the community. This feature:

Photos and images from the postcards you create are never sent to our servers — regardless of whether community sharing is enabled or not. Only the abstract template layout is uploaded.
⚠️ Important: When community sharing is enabled, do not use personal photos or private images as background images in your templates. Template backgrounds are part of the layout that gets shared with the community.

iCloud Sync

Photocards supports iCloud to let you access your templates and cards across your own Apple devices. Important details:

In-App Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.

Children's Privacy

Because we do not collect any personal data, Photocards is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify users within the app. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
